Welcome to The Ranch Digital Detox & Wellness Retreat for Teens & Young Adults
Our immersive ranch program breaks the cycle of screen addiction by replacing digital distractions with meaningful physical work, animal care, and nature-based therapy. Through a structured, in-real-life behavioral intervention, teens reconnect with the world around them while building lasting resilience, genuine self-esteem, and emotional strength.
This one-of-a-kind digital detox ranch restores grit, character, and essential life skills — including healthy coping strategies, trust, accountability, respect, and emotional intelligence — creating real change that carries far beyond the retreat.
"I Can Do Hard Things."

Participants take part in guided, age-appropriate ranch projects such as light building, grounds care, and outdoor improvement activities. These hands-on experiences encourage resilience, confidence, and perseverance, all while giving teens and young adults the powerful reward of creating something real, meaningful, and lasting.
Developing Grit and Resiliency

By pushing through challenging tasks when they are tired or frustrated, teens learn to problem-solve rather than "rage-quit". This hands-on experience proves to them that they have the internal strength to handle hard things, building confidence that transfers to every area of life.
Discipline and Mindfulness

Under strict supervision, we use archery to teach safety, discipline, and attention to detail. This practice isn’t just about aiming at a target; it cultivates emotional regulation and the ability to “quiet the mind.” Teens learn firsthand how steady breathing, focus, and calm precision directly impact their results, reinforcing the connection between inner balance and outward performance.
Culinary Skills and Communal Dining

Your teens don't just eat; they participate in meal preparation, learning essential cooking skills and the value of nutrition. Working together in the kitchen fosters teamwork, while sitting down to share a meal they helped create rebuilds the primal human connection of "breaking bread" that is often lost in the age of fast food and solo screen time.
Outdoor Exploration and Reflection

Hiking and exploring the vast property allows nature to act as a therapist, naturally reducing stress hormones and improving focus. This immersion offers a physiological reset, giving teens the quiet space needed to reflect on their goals and gain perspective.
Animal Therapy and Responsibility

Through hands-on equine therapy and daily ranch life, teens and young adults learn to feed, groom, and care for horses and other ranch animals: building empathy, responsibility, and aware of their energy in the present moment. Animals respond only to presence, patience, and genuine connection, creating a safe, judgment-free space that helps teens open up, regulate emotions, and build trust in ways they often can’t with people.
